Michael Knight
Michael was bitten by the stage bug at the age of seven when he portrayed “George” in “Schoolhouse Rock Jr.” Over the years, Michael has performed in various musical theater productions of Kids Take The Stage, a non-profit children’s theater organization based in Alameda, CA. Some of his past roles include: “Mayor Shinn” in “Music Man”, “Kenickie” in “Grease”, and “Rooster” in “Annie”. His favorite musical theater role to date was “Riff” in “West Side Story” – including his first on-stage death scene!
Portraying “Kevin” in “Ed Meets His Maker” is Michael’s first experience acting for the camera and he hopes you enjoy the film as much as he enjoyed the experience! Michael is a freshman in high school, is fun-loving, witty and an all-around nice guy. Michael would like to thank the “Ed” production team for such a wonderful opportunity – and of course, thank his entire family and friends for their love and support.
Max Neary
From his first moment of life in 1995, it was obvious that Max was an old soul, destined to entertain and enlighten all around him. His first performance came at the age of two when he amazed family and friends by belting out “Ol’ Man River” in an indescribable baby baritone.
Over the last two years, Max has appeared in no less than six productions of the Alameda, California “Kids Take the Stage” program. In the process he met Michael Knight, who would be a fellow “Ed Meets His Maker” cast member.
Max loves antiques and period history. He wants to continue his theatre pursuits, concentrating on his singing skills.
Grant Miller
A resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Grant Miller is an ambitious actor. In addition to acting, he enjoys playing tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball, skiing, and hanging out with his four brothers and one sister.
Grant is fun loving, congenial, and a quick study. He has a keen sense of humor and an active imagination. He has been fortunate enough to travel six continents where he enjoys learning about other cultures and species of animals. Grant loved working with the cast and crew of “Ed” and hopes his career holds more T.V, commercial and film acting opportunities.
Douglas Vetter
Douglas is a third grader whose many interests include piano, soccer, martial arts, and competitive chess. Prior to appearing in “Ed Meets His Maker”, Douglas had performed in two school plays, “The Puppy Who Wanted to Be Anyone Else” in which he played the Puppy, and “Surfing The States”, playing the role of the Kid from Colorado.
Though he was the youngest member of the cast of “Ed” Douglas’ command of the script led Director Larry Sarezky to name him “Co-Director.
